Judge.me Review to Earn Points
Author: Rijoy Team
Feature Description
By configuring the Judge.me review-to-earn-points rule, customers can receive corresponding points rewards after completing product reviews in your store. It helps merchants:
- Incentivize customers to generate genuine product reviews, enhancing store credibility and conversion rates
- Enrich points acquisition channels and boost membership system activity
- Simplify the review collection and points issuance process with the Judge.me review tool
Note: You must first install the Judge.me App and upgrade to the specified plan for the rule to take effect.
Core Prerequisites
- The Judge.me review App has been installed in your Shopify store

- Confirm that the Judge.me App has been installed and the Awesome plan has been upgraded (complete these steps first if not done)

Points Issuance Rules and Restriction Notes
1. Points Issuance Conditions
- The reviewer must be a valid existing customer of the store (review using the email registered with the store)
- The review status must be Published; drafts or unapproved reviews cannot earn points
- The review must be submitted after the successful connection between Rijoy App and Judge.me App and the configuration of the "review-to-earn-points" rule
2. Scenarios Where Points Are Not Triggered
- Reviews submitted with fake emails not registered with the store
- Reviews whose status has not reached "Published" (e.g., pending review, rejected)
- Reviews completed before the App connection is successful or the rule is configured
- Exceeding the set time limit (e.g., 5 times per month; no points for the 6th review)
3. Special Notes
- Each store can only create 1 rule of this type; duplicate creation is not allowed
- Points issuance is automatically executed by the system without manual intervention
- If a customer does not receive points after submitting a review, check if the review status is "Published" and if the time limit has been exceeded
💡 Configuration Recommendations
- Points Amount Setting: It is recommended to match the product unit price (e.g., 50-100 points for products with a unit price of $100) to balance incentive effect and cost
- Time Limit: It is recommended to set "5-10 per Month" to encourage more reviews while preventing malicious points farming
- Icon Selection: Prioritize icons related to "reviews" (such as preset review icons or custom-uploaded review symbols) to improve user recognition
💡 Notes
- If the Judge.me plan is downgraded or not upgraded to the Awesome plan, the connection will fail and the rule will not work properly
- After modifying rule configurations (such as points amount, time limit), click the save button; the new rule will only apply to subsequent reviews
- To suspend this points acquisition method, directly set the rule status to "Disabled" without deleting the configuration
- Reviews with fake emails or malicious points farming will not trigger points issuance, ensuring the fairness of the points system
