Feature Description
By configuring the "Earn Points by Purchasing Products" rule, customers can automatically get corresponding points (1:1 conversion) based on the product price after buying designated products. It helps merchants:
- Boost product sales with points incentives and enhance customers' purchase willingness
- Simplify the points calculation process without manually setting points for individual products
- Enrich membership points acquisition channels and strengthen the stickiness of the membership system
Note: Points are automatically converted based on the product price, requiring no manual maintenance from merchants. The rule takes effect in real time after configuration.
Core Rule Explanation
- Points Conversion Logic: After purchasing designated products, the number of points = actual payment price of the product (price after discount)
- Example: The original price of a product is $100, and the actual payment after using a discount coupon is $80. The customer can get 80 points; buying 2 units will earn 160 points
- Rule Limitation: Each store can only create 1 rule of this type ("1:1 conversion by price" for earning points through product purchases)
Operation Steps

- Access the Rijoy App and click on the left-side menu Points
- Switch to the Points Rules tab
- Under the "Ways to earn" module, click the Add Ways to earn button
- Select Purchase product (by price) from the pop-up options to enter the rule configuration page
- Fill in the configuration items as follows:
(1) Rule Name (Action Name)
- Enter the rule name, which will be displayed on the membership panel and loyalty landing page
- Examples: "Earn Points by Shopping", "Get Points for Purchases", "Purchase to Earn Points"
(2) Select Products (Products)
- Check the products that participate in this rule. Customers can earn points based on the price when purchasing the checked products
- Support quickly finding target products through the search box, and checking in batches or individually
(3) Rule Status Control

| Enabled | The rule takes effect. Customers can see this earning method on the membership panel/loyalty landing page and automatically get points after purchasing designated products |
| Disabled | The rule is invalid. It will not be displayed to customers, and points cannot be earned through this rule when purchasing products |
(4) Icon Settings (Display Icon)

- After completing all configuration items, click the save button on the page for the rule to take effect
Points Issuance Rules and Restriction Notes
1. Points Issuance Conditions
- Customers successfully purchase the checked designated products
- Points are converted 1:1 based on the actual payment price of the product (final price after using discount coupons)
- No need to manually configure the number of points; the system automatically calculates based on the order payment amount
2. Special Notes
- Each store can only create 1 rule of this type; duplicate creation is not allowed
- If an order contains multiple checked products, points are calculated based on the total actual payment price of each product
- The timing of points issuance follows the configuration in the "Order Rewards Configuration" module (e.g., issuance after payment, issuance after shipment)
3. Scenarios Where Points Are Not Triggered
- Purchasing unchecked products (products not added to the rule)
- Orders not completed payment, or canceled/refunded after payment (points will be handled according to the order reward recovery rules)
💡 Configuration Recommendations
- Product Selection: Prioritize checking core products and best-selling products in the store to maximize the effect of points incentives
- Rule Name: It is recommended to clearly reflect the association between "consumption" and "points" (e.g., "Earn 1 Point for Every $1 Spent") to enhance customer perception
- Icon Selection: Prioritize icons related to "shopping" and "payment" (such as preset shopping cart, gold coin icons) to improve scenario recognition
💡 Notes
- After modifying rule configurations (such as adding/removing products, enabling/disabling status), click the save button. The new configuration only applies to subsequent orders
- If customers use discount coupons, full discounts and other offers, points will be calculated based on the actual payment price after discount, ensuring that the points value matches the customer's actual consumption
- If you need to adjust the points conversion ratio (non 1:1), you need to configure it through other types of points rules. This rule only supports 1:1 conversion by price
