Product Page: Points Display Section

Feature Description

The Product Page Points Display Section is designed for the Product Page (product details page) to intuitively show customers:

The points value is automatically calculated based on your store's settings, requiring no manual maintenance from merchants. It helps merchants strengthen points incentives before customers place orders, thereby:

• Increasing product page conversion rates
• Enhancing customers' perception of membership value
• Guiding users to log in or join the membership system

How Are Points Calculated?

• The points displayed on the product page are the automatic summary of all eligible points-earning rule results for the current product at the current time
• The system automatically completes all calculations; you only need to configure the rules

Operation Path (Adding to the Product Page)

1. Access the App and click On-Site Content
2. Select Product page and click Set up
3. Click Customize in the Points Calculator section
4. The system will redirect to the Default product template in the Shopify Online Theme Editor
5. The [Rijoy Points Calculator] section will be added automatically
6. Drag and drop the section to the appropriate position and click Save

Section Display Logic (Important)

The points display section will only appear on the product details page if your store has configured active "Earn Points by Placing Orders" rules for the current product.
If no valid rules are configured (i.e., customers cannot earn points for purchasing the product), the section will be automatically hidden to avoid interfering with customers' shopping decisions with irrelevant information (no additional settings required; the system judges automatically).

Display Content Configuration Instructions

Image Configuration (Background Image Settings)

• Used to set the background image of the points section
• It is recommended to use images that do not affect text readability

Text Configuration (Copy Settings)

Supports custom editing of the following copy content:

• Title copy (e.g., "Earn Points for Purchase", "Order Points Reward")
• Pre-login display copy
• Post-login display copy

💡 Copy Variable Description (Important)

We have preset the [Points] variable in the default copy, which is used to dynamically display:

• [Points] is automatically calculated and displayed based on the current product and "Earn Points by Placing Orders" rules
• When editing the copy, it is recommended to keep this variable as much as possible
• If you accidentally delete it, you can manually enter [Points] anywhere to restore the display

Button Configuration (Redirect Button Settings)

• This button is used in the points section of the product page to guide users to view more information about membership points and rewards
• Merchants can customize the button copy and post-click behavior through this configuration item

1. Button Text (Button Copy)

• Used to set the text content displayed on the button
• Examples:
  • View My Points
  • View Membership Rewards
  • Learn more about rewards

2. Button Action Type (Button Click Behavior)

Used to configure the operation type after users click the button; two options are available:

(1) Open Panel

• After clicking the button, the Rijoy Rewards Panel will be directly invoked on the current page
• Suitable for scenarios where you want users to quickly view points, rewards, and membership information without redirecting to another page
• Prerequisite: The rewards panel function has been enabled and configured in the App

(2) Link URL

• After clicking the button, users will be redirected to the specified page
• You need to enter the complete redirect link in the Button URL field

Common Usage Scenarios:

• An independent Loyalty Page has been configured
• You want to guide users to an independent membership explanation page

Example:

• Enter the URL of the loyalty landing page in Button URL
• After users click the button, they will be directly redirected to this page to view detailed membership benefit information

Usage Recommendations

• To allow users to quickly view membership information on the current page, it is recommended to use the Open Panel mode
• If a complete loyalty landing page has been configured, it is recommended to use the Link URL mode
• If no guidance button is needed temporarily, you can leave Button Text blank

• The points displayed on the product page are the estimated value for a single product; the actual points will be officially issued according to the rules after the order is completed

• Remember to click Save after modifying the configuration for the changes to take effect
• If the section is not displayed normally, first check whether "active Earn Points by Placing Orders rules" have been configured for the current product
