Points-Multiplier Campaigns

Feature Description
The Points Multiplier Campaign is used to apply a multiplier reward to eligible points-earning actions within a specified period.
This campaign does not create new points-earning rules but multiplies the rewards of existing rules. It is suitable for:
- Major promotions (e.g., Black Friday, Anniversary Sale)
- Increasing customer engagement and repeat purchases
- Temporarily amplifying points incentives
Logic
- The Points Multiplier Campaign is only effective within the configured campaign period
- The campaign applies to existing points-earning rules
- The system calculates points based on the original rules and multiplies them by the configured multiplier
- If the campaign is manually paused, the multiplier effect stops immediately (highest priority)
Supported Points Actions
The campaign applies only to the following actions:
- Place an order
- Signup
⚠️ The following actions do not participate in the points multiplier campaign:
- Social media points rules
- Birthday points
How to Configure
Method 1: Create with AI Sidekick (Loyalty AI)

- Click Loyalty AI in the bottom-right corner of any page in the App to open the AI panel
- Enter a command in the input box, for example:
“Create a festive double points campaign to celebrate the new year and give all customers extra rewards.” - The AI will automatically generate a corresponding Points Multiplier Campaign, including:
- Campaign name
- Points multiplier
- Click the Preview & Edit button
- The system will navigate to and pre-fill the Points Multiplier Campaign configuration page
- Merchants can select which existing points-earning rules to include, adjust multipliers and campaign status, then click Save to activate the campaign
Method 2: Create Manually

- Go to the App and click Points in the left-hand menu
- Switch to the Marketing Campaigns tab
- In the Points Multiplier Campaigns section, click Add Campaign
- Enter the configuration page and complete the setup
Configuration Items
1. Campaign Name
- Displayed on the member points panel and loyalty landing page
- Use a clear name indicating the multiplier and purpose, for example:
2× Points WeekendDouble Points for Black Friday
2. Campaign Period
- Start Time
- Based on browser time
- Cannot be earlier than the current time
- End Time
- Cannot be earlier than the start time
- The system automatically validates the campaign period
3. Points Multiplier
- Supports multiplier range:
2x – 10x - Only integer multipliers are allowed
- The multiplier applies to the final points awarded
Example:
- Original rule gives 100 points
- Set 2x → actually awards 200 points
- Set 3x → actually awards 300 points
4. Campaign Status
- Active: Campaign is effective, eligible points will be multiplied
- Disabled: Campaign is inactive, original points rules are unaffected
Campaign Status
The system automatically determines the campaign status based on time and manual control:

| Active | Current time within campaign period |
| Completed | Current time > end time |
| Paused | Manually paused by merchant |
Editing Rules
- Completed
- Start/end time cannot be edited
- Cannot be reactivated
- Active
- Only the end time can be modified
- Paused
- Full edit of time and multiplier configuration is allowed
💡 Notes
- Only 1 points multiplier campaign is allowed at the same time
- Promotional product campaigns do not participate in points multiplier campaigns
- Use high multipliers with caution to avoid excessive points cost in a short period
